Season Dates
Season dates for 2007 are September 1 to December
15,for ducks, white geese and sandhill cranes. Dark Geese(Canadas and Whitefronts) season begins September 10 and ends
December 15, 2007.
Bag limits were set as follows:

Ducks - 8 per day (3 of which may
be pintails), possession limit is 16

Dark Geese - 8 per day (3 of which
may be white-fronts), possession limit is 16

White Geese - 20 per day, possession
limit is 60

Sharp Tail Grouse - 3 per day,
season limit of 6

Hungarian Partridge -8 per day,
season limit of 24
Steel shot must be used for all waterfowl and
upland game hunting.
Licenses will be on hand upon your arrival.

Firearm Laws
Recent changes to Canada's gun laws require
that all non residents complete a Non-Resident Firearm Declaration Form (JUS 909EF), which will serve as a licence and registration.
This is also required to purchase ammunition. There is a fee of $50 CDN that is good for 12 months. This form must be filled
out in triplicate and signed in the presence of the customs officer. Hunters are advised to complete the form prior to arrival.
